Mike & Carrie's Sunset

Newsflash:  MikeR imitates Mike & Carrie,
and rides off into the sunset!  :)
If you've tried to visit my site in the past couple days,  you've found out that Tripod has limited their
bandwidth- which means that there are only a few people that would be able to visit the site every day.
 This is the same thing that Geocities did last fall, which led to the move to Tripod.  It seems to be a
trend, and one that will prevent me from utilizing a free site to put pictures on.  Since I don't make any
money doing this (that's right- zero!), I won't pay for a site and then have to devote much of my free
time to updating it every day.  

The past 3 1/2 years have been great!  I've met many people from all walks of life, and have made some
friendships that I hope will outlast this site.  It always amazed me that so many people allowed me to
come into their homes and  offices everyday to share a few minutes of humor.   As some parting words of
wisdom- if you find a site that you like, write and tell the person doing it.  It makes all the difference
to get feedback, and makes you want to stop if you don't. 

I'll continue to watch and enjoy Days, and if the opportunity presents itself, I may be back for special
events or weekly comments....  we'll see how it goes.  Join the mailing list, if you haven't
already, so you'll know what's happening.

I hope you also continue to follow Days of Our Lives.  There will be many new adventures and
romances to come! (and many pointing actors, I'd bet!  :)
